The Bentley Drivers Club arrived at Silverstone for their annual race meeting at the beginning of August. This was a social event as well as a race meeting for the club and the paddock was full of vintage and classic Bentley’s covering most of its history. The Classic Nostalgia hill climb took place at Shelsley Walsh in mainly sunny conditions, much to the delight of the large crowd. This year the Midland Automobile Club (MAC) were celebrating Rallying and the Campbells Speed records. Meer lezen

Now in it’s third year, the event covers historic motoring and aviation, with demonstrations on the ground and in the air. Based at a former war time air base, Bicester Heritage is now being re-developed in to the UK’s only business park dedicated to historic motoring and aviation. Upon arrival at Oulton Park it was dry and cloudy for morning practice. Behind the main paddock, there was an AutoSolo event taking place, an auto test where cars compete in a specific direction round a course marked by traffic cones. Meer lezen

The Historic Sports Car Club (HSCC) had assembled a 15 race programme for the weekend, with over 400 cars entered, plus they had a vintage funfair and other family entertainment within the circuit. Meer lezen
